Localizing HoneyBear-Folio
HoneyBear-Folio supports multiple languages for its user interface. You can help make the app accessible to more users by contributing translations or adding support for new languages.
How Localization Works
- The app uses JSON files for each supported language (e.g.,
en.json,es.json). - All UI text is referenced by keys and translated using these files.
- The language selector in Settings allows users to switch languages instantly.
Steps to Add a New Language

- Copy
en.jsonfromapp/src/i18n/. - Rename it to your language code (e.g.,
fr.jsonfor French). - Translate all values, keeping the keys unchanged.
- Copy
Register the Language
- Edit
